“Received an offer”
This confirms that a role was proposed, not that the actor accepted it. The project may be one of several under review, and production details can still change.
“Positively considering”
The phrase signals interest, but it remains a review-stage response. Scheduling, contracts and final creative decisions may be unresolved.
“Confirmed to appear”
This is the clearest casting language, ideally supported by the production company, broadcaster, streaming platform or the actor’s agency. Even confirmed productions can later change, but the reporting threshold has been met.
