LIM KIM released her second full-length album, Exit to Nowhere, at 6 p.m. KST on July 22, 2026. The seven-track record arrives thirteen years after her first full-length release and turns the singer’s experiences from her early twenties to her thirties into a personal chronology.

Its title track is “Never Gonna Be Alone,” an alternative-pop song that begins in the setting of a wedding. LIM KIM told the Associated Press that the song examines the contradiction of feeling intensely alone while surrounded by other people.

Yonhap reported that LIM KIM participated in writing lyrics for five songs. The album is built around synth-pop and retro textures, placing renewed emphasis on her distinctive voice.

The confirmed track list includes “EXIT,” “INSA” featuring British rapper Bree Runway, “Never Gonna Be Alone,” “21,” “Limbo” and “Through The Glow” featuring Korean producer and singer Yoon Sang. The full release contains seven tracks.

“INSA” plays on the Korean word for a greeting and the formal exchanges the singer encountered after entering the music industry. In her AP interview, LIM KIM described Exit to Nowhere as more inward-looking than her 2019 EP GENERASIAN, which addressed identity from the perspective of an Asian woman born in South Korea.

She also named novelist Yang Gui-ja, writer Joan Didion and the film Spirited Away among the works that informed the album’s exploration of identity and transformation.
